FC Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi, is reportedly fearing another long-term injury and has been working closely with Argentina’s therapist.
According to La Sexta, Marcelo D’Andrea has been living in Messi’s house to help the Barcelona star prevent injuries.
It is understood that Messi “doesn’t have good sensations” and fears another injury.
Last season Messi was sidelined for over two months with a tigh injury and is now looking to reach his best physical form with the help of a professional.
Messi had a brilliant start to the season, scoring nine goals and assisting 11 in all competitions, but he has drawn a blank in his last two La Liga games.
The Argentine has played every possible minute in La Liga to hunt Telmo Zarra’s all-time goal-record.
He was only rested in the Champions League fixture against Ajax Amsterdam, when he was substituted in the second half.
Messi is likely to feature in Barcelona's Champions League fixture against Ajax Amsterdam tomorrow night.
